Default New Flipping stick and reel

Pulled the trigger on a new Ducket Micro guide 7'11" and a Shimano Castaic.
Can't wait to drown some sweet beavers this coming Sat.
Bait monkey was patting me on the head the whole time.

That's awesome info right there.

I figure it will make a good frog rod in a pinch too.

I watch the Live show on BASS Insider with Terry Scroggins using this rod and was impressed with how it looked to give at the tip when working the bait but how tough it was when Terry Swung a 10lb bass over the side of the boat like it was a dink.

Thanks for that info Bama.

Let us know how it fishes, nmanley. I've had my eye on the Duckett rods since they came out and like you really got serious about buying one after watching Scroggins.

Thanks guys.
Got to use it a little today. Felt pretty good but we didn't fish a lot of dense mats.
Not too heavy and you can feel what the bait is doing on the drop.
I think next time I'll tie on a frog and heave that around more.
