Hey Reb, sorry to hear that you are broken. How long you going to be out? If you need, I may be able to find somebody to "donate" an appendix for you. I have donors walking down the hall here all day long. Now, finding you one that is disease and drug free may be a challenge, but I will see what I can do.

Thanks for all the kind words and wishes, folks. I greatly appreciate them. I got sprung this afternoon. They did a laparoscopic appendectomy, so all I have are three puncture wounds but I feel like I did about 1000 sit ups-and I haven't done that many since college, a looongng time ago. The worst part of the whole thing was the IV they gave me-it was running full tilt so about every 15 minutes I'd wake up and have to make more room for the stuff they were dripping in if you know what I mean. At least I know my plumbing works fine !

Flyrod is the definition of a true friend. I told him after he dropped me off at the ER to head home but he would have none of that. He brought my mom to the hospital to be there for the surgery and took good care of her and didn't leave until I was settled in the room. He took care of the dog and got the stuff I needed from home.

Anyway, I'm doing fine-I doubt I'll be up to hitting the water for a few days, though. thanks again for all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers!
Reb
