My setups

I know this sounds a bit Buzz Wing-ish but I am hardly bragging since my stuff is no where near high end.

Here are my setups just to see what you guys think. #1 is the most used down to #5 which is the least used

1. Abu Garcia Cardinal with 7’ MH Berkley Cherrywood rod (newly purchased rod )
Purpose: weightless plastic setup (until I can upgrade to #6, then it may become C-rig setup)
Line – 20# High-vis yellow braid, #12 P-Line CFX pure fluoro leader
Lure – Light weightless plastics

2. Ugly Stick 7’ (2-piece) with cheap wobbly spinning reel
Purpose: General use to have in the car (since it breaks down and fits in the trunk) for those spur of the moment fishing exploits
Line – 10# Cajun red
Lures – plastics, crank baits, jigs, spinners, etc. (whatever is in my traveling baitbox)

3. Ugly Cat setup
Purpose: Duh - Catfish
Line – 20# suffix clear mono

4. Ugly Stick 5’ setup
Purpose: Bluegills and such
Line – 4# Stren mono
Lure – Light jigs, or bobber and hook (with live bait)

5. Abu Garcia Baitcaster with 7’ MH Berkley Lightning rod
Purpose: Topwater setup
Line – 10# Power Pro Braid moss green
Lure – All topwater baits

Saving up for
6. Shimano Saros F 2500 with Falcon Lowrider “weightless worm” rod
Purpose: All weightless plastics
Line – 20# High-vis yellow braid, #12 P-Line CFX pure fluoro leader
Lure – Light weightless plastics

sounds good man I've got three setups that i use for almost everything
1. abu ammbassuduer on a 6'6" cherrywood rod m/h #30 moss green power pro
2. pinnacle 100 on a 7'0 cherrywood rod m #20 smoke fireline
3. pinnacle 100 on a 6'6' lighting rod m/l #20 phantom red power pro
and i have a couple spinning set ups that i rarely use but i am currently looking for a new spinning setup hopefully soon . all spinning setups use #12 berkely big game mono
