Default badin lake 3-25-07

water was dead calm and 62 degrees. not a cloud to be found the water visability was 4-5 feet in the main lake a bit colored in the creeks.
lure of choice the stein/wocket.i designed this bait just for the above lake condition. running 2 trailer hooks..

my pattern was on laydowns -mostly- i have not been on badin since january..
these are differant fish by the way..

after the sun got up the bite kinda died-i had boated 9 bass.

i hit one of my all time favorite holes on badin.. after beating it with a crank and a fluke. i went and hit the tiny flat with the pnj.. and i'll be thar she were..

my big fish of the day. not huge but biting -that is all that matters..
had a 12-15 pound flat head on a fluke till he got me into a brush pile. seen him 2-3 times in the 8-10 mintue fight-seemed longer-nothing says big fish like loosen the drag real fast..
