Hey gang, lisa and i are taking a MUCH needed little r n r this weekend. I haven't fished Lake wheeler/wilson in so long i can't remember anything aobut it. So, what do i need to do? We will be staying at the WHEELER LODGE for a couple of nights. Weather man said low 50 overnight and highs of around 77-84 without a cloud in the sky till sometime saturday. Any help is thanked a thousand times. Looking to hear from you BROTHER LOVE, hahaha. I know you have fished it a hundred times so tell me what to use and where to go.

The Wheeler Lodge at the state park on first creek?
If yes, I'll make you a map...its where I learned to fish. PS, eat at the restuarant in the park, its good. |

Yes billy, we are staying at the lodge, don't know what creekis there. Last time i fished wheeler i was around 8 yrs old. I heard the bass were on bed now. So.................should i take some TNT? HAHAHAHA!

Thanks ron. We are ready to just get away form everything....even if it is only for a long weekend. We will leave either tomorrow night or thursday morning, go to chec out a cave tour. then hit the hotel room, nap, eat,sleep and hit the water EARLY the next am. Hope to catch a few bucketmouths. But really to relax and spend some "quality" time with each other. Waiting on billy to send me his map. Getting excited about it.

Well, lisa and i are in our room at the lodge. From we can see (night time) it looks awesum. Can't wait to hit the water in the morning.
