Another interesting lure
Im sure its not new to anyone on this forum, but i was looking through tacklewarehouse and saw this.
http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Tylur...html#multiview Thought it looked really interesting and a good concept. Imitating a fish actively feeding on a basses eggs should most certainly provoke an instinctual response. |

Mattlures Bluegill swimbait was designed to do that.

I'm not a swimbait guy but I really like this neat twist on swimbaits. If it really will sit nose down on a nest like they claim it will I can see where it would be a great bedfishing tool.

A lot of the soft bluegill swimbaits are made to rest nose down like that. I've never used one but they are killer from what I hear. Here's a picture from the Mattlures website.

They have something just like that at WalMart for (I think) $6 for a pack of 3 larger or 4 smaller lures.
