Default dropshot handling tip....

what I like to do is take a twisty tie....and tie the tag end with the weight to the blanks of my rods if I am going to rig one up the night before.....it solves those wrapings and other time costing problems that can arise. BPS now sells a dropshot keeper but this is cheaper and works the same.

Pick up a roll of VELCO, the kind that sticks to it's self. A couple of wraps on your rod and then you can re-use it all the time.

A Medium sized bulldog paper clip works too.
