Default Weekend at the lake with my nephews

The last 4 days consisted mostly of fishing, eating, playing card games and sleeping, with an occasional campfire thrown in as a change of pace. What a GREAT weekend it was!

My two older nephews and me after a great night of fishing - these fish were all between 2lb 6oz and 2lb 12oz:

15-year old nephew with his 2lb 1oz LM caught from our dock:

15-year old nephew with his 2lb 11oz, 16.5" smallie caught on a popper:

My 6-year old nephew holding one of my LM:

3lb 11oz, 17.5" LM I caught on a dropshot, wacky-rigged 5" Yamasenko (purple pearl with blue flakes):

4lb 5oz, 19" LM I caught using a wacky-rigged 7" Yamasenko (watermelon with red/black flakes) -- my 3rd largest bass ever on this lake:

Sounds like a blast of a fishing outing. The bass in the last photo a nice fattie. Thanks for sharing.

Very, very nice fish! It's always a blast fishing and catching with family.

Looks great!!!

The water is so hot here (upper 80s to mid 90s) that it has shut the bass down except for around 8 feet or lower or night time after midnight.
