Just got back from the pond myself. I have been lucky enough to make it out to fish everyday except Wednesdays and Saturdays this whole month.

i wanna go int he morning but its been being kinda cold.. http://www.accuweather.com/us/sc/col...Chg=1&metric=0

theres my 15 day.. maybe i'll get in the afternoons this comming up week.. just gunna try some bank fishing. Maybe i'll find a decent boat for a decent price.. theres a guy from last year we never could get to the door with an old craped out bass boat.. coud stick my 35 on the back of it...

and then theres another bass boat about 10 mins from my buds house at a body shop.. hes gunna go check it out this weekend..

otherwise, its still the ponds and the old sears gamefisher this season...

any recomended baits? this will be my 2nd year as a "bass " fisher and maybe this year i'll know what i'm doing

List:
new baitcast rod
re-stock worms
more hard baits so my fishing last longer than 5:30 AM-7:30AM and 5:30PM-7:30 PM ..(not just topwater)

i've gotten a good bit of hits on plastic worms but i wanna try alot more stuff

All it does is snow here. Another round of the damn white stuff is forecasted for later today. All the reservoirs I fish are iced up.

In less then two weeks time I'll have finished cleaning and tuning all my reels. I've already reorganized my tackle bag and boxes. Main order is on the way from BPS. Back order stuff already as assigned homes. Nothing else to do but go online and BS till the water becomes soft.

I don't know how you guys do it..We been in the whitebass run for people into easy fishing and the water temps have got down in the low 50's.I have not been in a week but will be on the hunt this weekened..Hope these warmer temps for a few days will help the temps get close to 60 cause we all know what happens then. There has been lots of big bass caught on my nearby lake.
Hope you all get out soon!
I will be fishing for black bass, don't like fish much so the crowds can catch the whites.

COLD?? You call that COLD??? I just left Winnipeg, MB and Fargo, ND and it was -14 up there with a wind chill around -30. You guys don't know cold. When you go outside and take a breath through your nose and your snot freezes, then you have cold. I would love for 40- degree temps right now....

It is all relative MI. I won't say our temps, but I have been known to feel a chill in weather you might consider swimming weather.....lol

Not too long ago, we had some arctic temps. i believe it got down to -17 one night with wind chill of -35. One of the weathermen went outside with a cup of hot water, and threw it up in the air. It was frozen before it hit the ground.
