Default Shimano Stradic

I was thinking of buying a Shimano Stradic CI4F in the 1000 size to use for a Float n Fly rig this winter.
Does anyone have one of these reels and can tell me what you think of it especially how smooth is the drag.

Thanks

Have one and love it for drop shot. The drag is smooth enough so far with no problems on fish under 4 lbs. Haven't caught any over that weight yet on the reel.

The drag is slicker n owl snot and smoother than fine Corinthian leather, but where it really shines is line management. In two years and thousands of casts not a loop yet!
