Shimano Stradic
I was thinking of buying a Shimano Stradic CI4F in the 1000 size to use for a Float n Fly rig this winter.
Does anyone have one of these reels and can tell me what you think of it especially how smooth is the drag. Thanks |

Have one and love it for drop shot. The drag is smooth enough so far with no problems on fish under 4 lbs. Haven't caught any over that weight yet on the reel.

The drag is slicker n owl snot and smoother than fine Corinthian leather, but where it really shines is line management. In two years and thousands of casts not a loop yet!
