Oh yeah!
Got this guy a few days ago. No one to help me with a pic, so I had to take it myself. I use ultra light gear, so I was terrified the whole fight that he was gonna break my rod. I had 15lb braid on so i was worried about that, but the last fish this size that I got snapped my rod in half.

Wow, that is awesome to have caught a bass that size on UL gear. I'm going to sound like obi wan here, but learn to trust your gear, as in your rod should protect your light no matter how much it bends... Ahem.. This does not apply if heavy cover is around. You obviously played her right, because there's a pic. Congrats!

Nice bass man when I was little I fished all UL stuff! It was real fun when you hook into a good sized bass like that!
My dad caught a 10lber on a 5'6" MH spinning rod and an ultra light spinning reel with 30lb braid on it! Craziest thing I ever saw! Another time my little brother caught a 4lber on an UL underspin with 2lb test mono! That was also pretty fun to watch!

Ah I see, I mistyped. I meant to say I wasn't worried about the braid.
I actually took the braid off for now. I am trying some different lines out for a bit. Right now I am throwing Vicious Ultimate 10lb. I have never used floro before, so I may try some of that next. I am pretty sure I'll end up back on braid, but I like to keep an open mind. Even if I don't always sound like it...
