Fish Attractor
Last May or so I posted information about my fish attractors made with 5 gallon bucket lids, styrofoam, rope, brick and pvc. Last week some local fellows were fishing a tourney on the lake where we'd planted 75 attractors in small clusters. One of the fellows hooked an attractor and brought it up. Not knowing what it was for, he tossed it back in and continued fishing. Still in the same area, he caught a 10.1 lb largemouth and three bass slightly over 5 pounds each. I knew the attractors would work, I just didn't realize how well.
If you'd like a picture of the attractor, pm me your email addy and I'll be glad to send. Good Fishing, Mac |

Yessireebob!!! Am really grateful to the rangers in the national forest for allowing and helping me in planting them. Am hoping they work as spawning stations as well come spring. As for general use, they are shock boating them come September to see how many and what species of fish are using them. Will report the results.

Mac2
I got the pic and looks simple enough. Pretty much looks like an underwater lilly pad. I'll give it a try. Here in Ohio I need all the help I can get. ) Thanks

Was browsing some of the old posts and wanted to say Thanks for the positive comments. They are Muchly Appreciated. Good Fishing to All, Mac
Have recently switched from silacone adhesive caulk over to using liquid nails, heavy duty. The liquid nails is holding the styrofoam on better, and am also roughing the foam a little before sticking with a piece of 80 grit sandpaper......holding much better. |
