WarEagle, I like the Castaway Bud Pruitt series flipping stick. In my opinon,it is one of the best flipping sticks for the money. They have a 5 year warranty, but I have yet to have any problems with them.P N J http://www.nbswebstore.com/cgi-bin/w...RAPHITE%20RODS

Grandt rods are to me, the best value on the market. I picked up mine for a little over $120 and it comes with a lifetime replacement warranty, even if you slam it in a car door.......it's as light and as sensetive as a Kristler too.

depends on what type of fishing you do.if you fish alot of clear water flipping is diffantly a bad idea. flippin is better when the water is muddy. i pitch alot so i use a lighter rod 7' mh rod a fenwick techna av.
when i do flip i also do a bit of distance casting with it i use. a fenwick x-heavy 7'6'' stick loaded with braid. also i highly recomend the van dam video. old or new at fishing it helps with the fine tuning so to speak of pitchin/flippin...and the best part is he don't try to sell you any thing..just shows you what he uses and how he uses it.. zooker
