JB, Just got back an hour ago.It was raining and a 15-20 mph wind out of the north.I got on some smallies , but it was difficult to fish with all the wind.Went back in the creek and caught 17 greenfish.Nothing real big today, had a 4lb largemouth on the paca craw.Thursday I caught a 6.8 lb Smallmouth on the X-rap. Anyone ever use the Uncle Homers Tri vibe ? The fish have knocked the finish off from the I used last week.I bout 6 more yesterday. P N J

pig and jig,you live in ny so why are you not happy about it?the only people who fish that time of year are catch and release guys anyway.the bucket brigade doesn't have the skill to catch bass in the cold water periods with any regularity.most of them will stay inside anyway due to cool weather.

Dodge, Exactly my point.Nothing has changed, the die hards will continue to bass fish year round, but what return do you think the great D.E.C. will want in return for letting us fish year round legally ?Its all a scam, they changed a law that they couldn't enforce before, you can't control what specific species of fish your fishing for? They installed the new laws that didn't change anything for a new license fee that we will pay next year.P N J

i see your point but i don't think the fee will go up that much.even if it does at least you don't have to feel like a criminal.the funds go to the resouce anyway.

yeah, but it's kind of hard to tell my kid to obey the law and then go out and catch bass when legally i shouldn't.the kid doesn't understand that the law was stupid.

PNJ- I'm with ya. There are certain things that cannot be restricted. If I lived up there, I'd be out bass fishing whenever the heck I want.
