Fired up!!!
Yep, fired up the smoker today (actually plugged it in) to cook a small turkey. Got some sides that will be added later today. Hopefully we don't get any t-storms.

Lightening will just shorten the smoking time.

well, it SEEMS like ol smitty is too full to comment on how it was. jsut so ya'll know, it turned out to be a bunch of bones...AFTER he knawed all the meat off of them. lol!
he texted me the picture above as i was driving home from work. made my belly button start eating on my backbone. then i go in the house and lisa has a steak and tater waiting on me. now THAT'S ESP!! i sent smitty a pic of my leftovers and he sent me one of his leftovers. hahahaha. guess it was great. looked great smitty, BEFORE you ate it. glad you had a good dinner pal. and bob...let's not mention lightening around me....bad things happen to me with lightening, hahahaha!!!

Stop by anytime. Plenty of food. Bring a couple beers. I'm out. Threw a couple taters and ears of corn in with the turkey. Let the drippings hit the corn. Good stuff. Made some mac n cheese, not the box stuff, as well.
Can't post pics until tomorrow. Good dinner and expecting some good leftovers.... |

Yes it is. One day I'll get a real wood smoker. This is a starter.
Here's some more pics to make everyone hungry and some sides with the Cheesy Mac All done |
