Saw him/her/it sitting in the yard the other day. Thought I'd see how close I could get before it jumped. Made it to 10' and snapped the picture . I figure the next time I take the ol' sling shot out with me and try my luck . Whatcha think? Soup, stew, or just pan fry the sucker ?

Pan fry. Ain't that the rabbit from Monty Python's "Holy Grail"? Be careful, 3d, them's vicious critters with nashing, gnarly teeth...

Leave the little guy alone. He's more fun alive.

I think I could have a lot of fun grilling him with a brushing or two of olive oil and greek seasoning. Dip him in butter as I ate him..yea, that'd be a lot of fun.

10 feet? Hell just hit him with a rock. Or if you got one use a compund bow. I used to shoot at squirrels in the backyard with one when I was a kid. I have some good memories of sitting on the roof of our old antebellum house on early summer mornings in the historic district of town with a thermos full of coffee and a compound bow, taking pot shots at squirrels.

I would be more concerned with the “owl” perched above me on a limb waiting for me to go inside to get my weapon of choice, “first get the owl, then the hairy lil’ hare”, combine these two in a pot with some veggies and you have a “harey-bird stew” that’s better than “stuffed bass”…. God Bless all our Veterans today and all those that are in uniform.

Can't be shootin' the 20 gauge in the neighborhood but got it handy just in case it gets vicious like piggy2 says. I've only seen the one and it lives across the street. It comes over for a visit every once in a while and normally stays in the ditch along the edge of the property in the tall grass.

If it gets into the plants then I'm bringing in pest control.....Ozzie Fudd, Wabbit Slayer
