Finally some luck on a spinnerbait
Well I caught this little beauty (sorry the pic isnt great because bcklash forgot the camera and we had to use is old crappy phone camera , Maybe now he will listen and get a new one) on a sexy shad spinnerbait. I have never had much luck, really just caught 1 fish on a spinnerbait (not event a keeper). I was looking to put on a topwater Spook but we didnt have any. Well I was looking around and decided a I would try a Spinnerbait and about 10 minutes later we pulled up to a Rocky shoreline and BAM!!! She Slammed it. She wasnt coming off. She had the main hook buried in the nose and the trailer hook was buried as well. I ended up catching three more down that stretch all 3 were good keepers. Dad caught several to but refused to change baits. Overall we caught 11 fish with 8 being keepers.

What Bandit meant to say was Dad caught several more fish than he did. Wonderful of fishing and being out on the water.

Congrats on catching with a spinnerbait. They really work well around those rocky areas. Try finding some submerged trees or laydowns and fishing the outside edges with a spinnerbait. It should produce as well.

Congrats on the spinnerbait. Spinnerbaits have been a go to lure of mine for probably 35 years now. They catch bass like no ones business! This year I have caught a ton on the Strike King KVD spinnerbait, bluegill color, small silver colorado/gold willow tandem.

I have always wanted to get some luck with them but never could get a lot of confidence in them. I think this may have helped.
