Cabelas rod find
I have been waiting for the black friday sales to get a American Rodsmiths golf grip rod. Checking Cabelas clearence site today I found the American Rodsmiths H-3 Titanium rods on clearence for $119.88. The original price was $289.00. Although these aren't the Denny Brauer models this rod will work I hope for what I want it to do. It is the swimbait model and I am going to use it for horny toads, buzzbaits and spinnerbaits. I'm putting a Curado 201E7 on it. I have been throwing a Silver Max left hand reel and have grown used to it. So I feel the new lefty Curado will be great for buzzbaits and spinnerbaits.

I zoomed in on the picture and could see the hole in the trigger. Dang I thought I had come up with something original.....but I did start doing that to my rods over 10 yrs ago so maybe they copied me? btw thats an excellent price, but you got to wonder how many they sold at $289. ?
