Default nice sized largemouth (pix)

went fishing this weekend. caught a 4.5 - 4.75 pound largemouth on a 5 inch lizard along with 2 12 inchers. pretty good weekend.

it gives you the exact weight of the fish ironman...I used to be tournament director and havea pair of 200 dollar digital platform scales that we used with the bass club, and after weighing a couple thousand fish, you can about guess the weight of the next one.......most people will call a 2 and 1/2 lb bass 4 lbs almost every time, till the digitals humble them!

Also where do you put that little ring on a bass that look's like a hook, I tried putting it in the gill with my scale and would just slip out????

this one was weighed with a calculator on another forum..its accurate if you have the girth and length..im gonna have to get a scale since im catching some nicer ones...i had a cheap rapala one but it crapped out...

turn the fish stomach side in and put it in between the gill and the side of the fish. just dont go shoving it in the gill plate cause it will damage the fishes gills..

nice fish! when holding the larger bass though,try not to hold 'em by their lip,as it could cause some damage. nice fish though,keep 'em comin'!
