Junior year is pretty much universally the best year of highschool for most people. By the time your a senior people are normally burnt out, tired of each other and town and school and looking forward to whats next. Enjoy it while you can.

a day and a half for me here! can't wait to be done for the year. I'll be a junoir too, but I already have Senioritis. I personally can't wait till highschool is over. I figure I'm gonna buy me a bass boat for graduation. (if only.....) My senior year is pretty much gonna be my slacking off year. besides Calculus and English 12, I'll have all easy classes.

At our school we have the choice ot go to vocational school junior and senior year, and right now, there's about 15 juniors and seniors there. next year, when THE laziest in the history of our school gets to be juniors, there are 35 of us alone going there. it is much easier than regular school.

Wellll...THAT doesn't make me all that hopeful for America's youth.
Still, I hope your Junior AND Senior years are marked by scholastic excellence; lasting friendships; respect for the underpaid educators who will strive to prepare you for real life. They really are your best friends though that realization may take years to sink in.
Real Life, by the way, will not be successful without "control" of one's self, and the pimpin' will not contribute to success OR happiness either.
I hope you are involved in worthwhile extracurriculars...Maybe as a linebacker for The Fighting Scapegoats; playing in the Band; warbling in the Choir; or as Leading Man in the Drama Club's presentations. Even being on Yearbook Staff or in the Latin Club will benefit you far more than idling at the mall.
Now, turn that blond sophomore bimbo loose and go fishing!

Wishing you (and the Fighting Scapegoats) a great year.

Class of 1974 and nothing has changed except I'm fat, gray, and a extra set of eyes and still married to my high school sweetheart. The one thing that did change is I catch some bass now and then. You young guys had better enjoy high school while you can because the next thing you know your fat, gray or bald and need glasses and wondering "WHAT IN THE HELL HAPPENED." GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU.

Got into a conversation with a sophomore today. Talking about movie quotes. He had never seen the following movies and I believe they should be required

Kelly's Heroes
Dirty Harry
Caddyshack
Fast Times at Ridgemont High

I'm sure some of you may want to add one or two to the list. Sad thing was he didn't know who Bill Murray is and had never seen Groundhog Day. He did know Chevy Chase from Christmas Vacation. I told him to rent the first three seasons of Saturday Night Live too. It's a sad, sad world.........

lol Now that's good cinema, I don't care who ya are.

Hah i got 14 days of Sophomore year left. and through those 14 days, i have Finals, SAT II Chemistry (only a month after I crammed for the SAT II Bio), and the UMDNJ credit testing. It's like hell. and next year, its only worse as I try to force the GPA as high as i can... not to mention 3 tests. By the way, my motto is "It's Ivy League, 7 year program, or nothing." Wish I lived loose like you guys...
