Snakehead...does it taste like chicken?
Fished the Potomac again today and caught my first 2lb snakehead (the 8lb one was my tournament partners). Since they are to be destroyed I brought this one home and decided to find out if it did indeed taste like chicken?
Nope, tastes like snakehead  . Not bad at all  .

Is it a boney fish 3D? Does it taste like catfish or a white fish? Since they sound like they are here to stay, would be good if they were good table food!

It's got a lot of ribs but it has one very good top strip. I had to split both pieces length wise due to a small row of bones down the center.
It does taste similar to catfish but maybe a little sweeter. |
