Ambassadeur reel
A friend of mine told me he had been finding great deals on fishing tackle at some of the pawn shops. Today I made the rounds and at first could not believe what I had found. A AG Ambassadeur 4600 reel for $15.00. I was in a hurry to get the reel paid for and leave before they found out what the reel was worth The reel is a little dusty and needs to be cleaned but what the heck. I have checked it out and everything works. I will have more in the line to spool it than I paid for the reel.

Pawn shops and thrift shops have been good to me over the years. Thrift shops a little more so becuase a lot of pawn shops will have an idea what their gear is worth.

Flea markets and yard sales sometimes give up decent deals. I always ask if they have any fishing stuff if none is displayed. Works sometimes.
