Monday Report
Bad storms moved around us and it never rained. The oppressive humidity was staggering however. Oddly the LGMouth never turned on.. no real bite occurred this trip. Sure we caught a few fish but it was very odd. Later I noticed no bugs flying around the lights. Leaves me scratching my head.

Either you caught them or you didn't this weekend. New moon and 3" of rain on Thurs and Fri changed the bite with the flood tides. Caught some on topwater on Sun. Best bags were caught on topwater or chatterbait/spinnerbait over grass.
Here's an idea of the rain we fished in on Sun . What made it worse was there was only a 30% chance of T-storms in the afternoon. It rained from 9 am to 1:30 pm . Can you imagine that the weather people got it wrong.....again |
