I loved the teachers reaction. She just got in the fetal position then looked to see what it was. Thats something I dont understand, my kid does the mock "school shooting" drills now. They teach everyone to hide under the desk. WTF, teach em to get a chair and stand beside the door, and hit the first guy with a gun you see.

Funny how the world has changed. I am sure that I am not the only one who went through the Nuclear Bomb drills. I was trying to explain to my son the other day that yes, we used to take guns to school, but they were always hanging in a rack in the truck for after school and hunting season.
I am not saying that in today's world we should have the kids take guns to school, but when I was in High School, any one who would have thought of trying to shoot up the school would have had to deal with a bunch of pissed off boys who had their own guns in the parking lot.

It hasn't been that long since it's changed that much either. Cass when I was in high school in the 90's we all had our hunting rifles in the truck with our orange during deer season. you couldn't flaunt it, but it was overlooked. Thats not the case anymore.
