Pinheads or Patriots? You Decide.
Pinheads or Patriots? You Decide.
I haven't been able to go fishing since Veteran's Day so I did the next best thing. I assembled some inline spinners, two of which have a feather pattern that I have dubbed the patriot. From left to right: #1 - Inline spinner with a pearl color bead that reflects back colors other than pink. Ready for field testing, and looking forward to do so with great anticipation. It will also get a chance to be tested in another part of the U.S.A. #2 and #3 - “Black Beauty Patriots with flashabou. Would love to test these two just outside weed edges or drift in current. These will also get a chance to be tested elsewhere. #4 Inline spinner with a green bead and an X-Rap tail. So in the words of Bill O'Reilly, “What say you? Are they pinheads or patriots? Would you keep a couple in your emergency box or dismiss inline spinners as a lure you wouldn’t consider using as a self-respecting bass angler?” You decide and let us know. Pithy comments welcome.

They look good, for my own usage id shorten the feathers a tad as makes it considerably longer.Floruesant orange and yellow also is a good combo, chinese or indian capes being a good provider of hackle as cheap and predyed.

My friends and I have caught lots of bass on in-line spinners, mostly Mepps Aglia. Great job on these, I'll cast my vote for Patriots.

Inline spinners do catch bass, and I think they're a very overlooked bait (even by myself).
They look IB, I've got a mess of inline spinners I made a few years ago. Always seemed to catch more on a Mepps than I did on my own. BB
