Default I'm going to lose my mind...

if I don't go fishing soon.

Hopefully, my Nelson rod will get here this week and I can give it a christening in the local pit.

I look forward to your first report with the rod. Anyway, may you not accidentally slam it with the car door on the way to the water.

Ouch, that's cold. But NFE has a BOAT so hopefully it won't get anywhere near a car door.

A locker lid on the other hand..................................

Really, he's had enough grief over that rod, or actually with it's predessor, so I hope it gets there fine and he has great success and enjoyment with the new rod. Wlaker does a great job on his builds.

So get out and go fishing already. I know you guys have to have open water down there. We have had open water all winter, and have been catching bass on and off all winter!

I hear ya Bruce, and with the new rod on it's way, you have to be drooling to get back on the water. Strip pit fishing??? My ears perked up on that one. There are some huge bass in those southern Indiana stip pits. I was planning on going this saturday. Today hit 60 degrees and tomorrow will be warmer. But by saturday morning, it's back to the low 20's with a high in the low 30's that afternoon. Not sure I feel that hardy.

Haha, What are the shipping charges on 2500 lbs of steel? No prob, Walker. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

Keith, you're going to have to meet me at Raccoon Lake this year so we can tag some monster stripers!
