upgrade the TM. Get at least a 70lb either MK or MG will do. This will be a 24 volt setup, you get a longer run time, and less power needed to fight the winds, but youllhave it when you need it.

I agree, everything on there looks good except the 12v TM. It might even be O.K. if it has 2 batteries wired in parallel and you don't get into the wind too much.
On second thought the price might be a little high though. Take a look at the 17 Explorer starting at $13,895 new or the 18 Explorer starting at $16,995 if you are looking at a Triton. Brand new the VT17 is $13,500, I would think that a boat would lose more than $2,000 in value after 2 years.

I just picked up a 17 Explorer w/a 90 merc. & it has the 12v TM. For me it works, but I may add another battery like Bender recommended.

Allright I just skimmed over the nada site on your boat and low value for the rig is actually very high. so with what you have posted other than the fact the troller just wouldnt cut it if it where mine BUY IT if ya like it. The price is well below what the bank values it or would loan on it. The triton aluminums actually impress me more than the glass rigs due.

If it was a glass boat I'd agree with the TM upgrade, but for an aluminum it should work fine. Looks like a good deal.
