Nothing special, but a beaut
Hey guys... long time since I've been on the forums, but glad to be back. I've been busy lately I was out of the country studying this spring and I am working 9 - 5 all summer, but I'm working on Lake George so I have plenty of time to fish.
Got out last night after work and headed up north to a shallow, grassy channel. Probably about two feet of water is where I caught this girl, right off a clump of cat tails. I had been throwing a Spro Frog most of the night with no success, and I had my drop shot rod with me so I gave it a try and on the first cast I landed this beauty, about 15''. Best coloring I have seen on a large mouth up here ever. |

One that lives in cold water that's for sure. Upstate New York has to be a northern strain of largemouth. Not a smallie.
