Keep us in your prayers
Hey gang I am asking for prayers for my girlfriend and me. My girlfriend is going in to the hospital for back surgery this tuesday. This will be her second operation on her back. This operation is for spinal stenosis.
I haven't been working since November 7th. I have spinal stenosis also. Work became unbearable for me. I couldn't walk anymore without crutches. On the 7th I went to the hospital and they did an MRI on my back. I have arthritis and it is closing a nerve pathway causing my problems. I will see a doctor tomorrow to find out how bad my back is. I am walking without the crutches now and use a cane. Since I am not working I feel better. I hope to get some good news tomorrow. What really irks me is I couldn't fish late October on to try to catch a lunker for the contest. It was late last year I caught those 2 8lbers. Thank you.

Just got home from the hospital. Girlfriends surgery went well but took 4 hrs. Doc said she had a lot of scar tissue to get through and he found a slightly slipped disk to go along with the removal of the arthritis growth. He said he made sure the nerve had a lot of pathway.
On another note when I got home my outgoing mail was scattered in my yard and my neighbors yard. I think I found all the ebay stuff and one bill. I couldn't find my tax payment for my cabin. I'll look tomorrow when it's light outside. Now the bad part of this is the mail man had to step over some of the envelopes on the ground and some of the other mail in the neighbors yard that was clearly visible to me in the dark. What a lazy bastage. Wonder if complaining would do any good? Went to the back doctors Monday. He said I have a small break in my last vertebrae. It was there for decades he said. Just got worse over the years. So off to therapy tomorrow followed by a shot at the end of the month. Also I have to lose weight to take the pressure off the break. Thank you all for the prayers.

Joe the lady is doing pretty good. As a matter of fact she is getting ready to see her surgeon right now as I type. I have to watch her like a hawk. She wants to do everything. I am going through therapy and doing my exercises and I feel some relief. I am waiting to see how I do after the injection I get on the 31st. It scares me that the shot(s) won't work or last. Also my insurance runs out the end of January.
As for dancing maybe a few slow dances are just the medicine I need.

Bob I'm recovering from a surgery now that relieved a herniation on the peroneal nerve. Not in the same boat as you, but I feel your pain for being out of the game.
I will be praying for y'all.
