Tournament prize bags
I admit that I was a little tentative about posting this and if it is considered offensive to anyone then I apologize. I hope that you folks know me well enough by now to believe that it is not meant to be either SPAM or SCAM.
My club has been tasked with drumming up prizes and raffle items for the upcoming Tournament of Champions for the San Diego Bass Council. The event is a 2 day tournament where the 20 Area clubs send their AOY. http://www.sdbasscouncil.com/Tournament_Schedule/ The event goes on 19&20 March. Historically, it is a good advertising event for anyone who is able to contribute. They have their company/individual name posted on all of the banners, they are listed in the handouts, and of course there is the word of mouth factor on a good bait. If any of our lure folks would like to get their baits out here on the west coast, please send me a PM. I have the official letter on the event that I can send to any contributors for their tax purposes.

John,
I appreciate the sentiment. I am sure that all of our lure makers get flooded with requests for free gear and samples. I know that for many of them it is more than a hobby and has become a business. I just don't want to come across as a guy who is pushing for their free stuff. I also don't want to give the appearance that I am leveraging relationships that I have created on this site to get them. I am also goign door-to-door with my local vendors working on the donations too.
