Biggest this year was 8lb 11oz. Caught it throwing a 1/2oz Red Eye Shad in about 3 ft of water skimming the top of submerged grass.

Gotta be a 6lb 4oz I got early this season. Caught her a wacky rig senko! And a fun fish to catch it was!

6.10 in late spring on a homemade black and blue chatterbait. Of course the year isn't over yet so hopefully she won't be my biggest come the 31st of December

I had a few spots earlier in the year that were around 5, also had a 5 lb smallie that apparently hit the same lure twice...got him the second time.

My best this year was a 4lb 12oz Smallmouth with a 19.0" length and a 14.5" girth. It was caught on a Rebel Pop-R on September 14 just before dark.

A buddy of mine wanted to show me a pond in the middle of nowhere that he had drained landscaped and stocked. A five acre pond with little structure and five years old. I had no luck with plastics or spinnerbaits so I thought I'd show him how to work a jitterbug. The one I had was a 5/8 oz. and black. A couple of casts from the bank and a hawg blewup on it. 8lb 8oz I was shocked
