Default Dollar Shave Club

Just signed up for the 4 blade option. Price is good and it will be convenient. Will give a review once the goods get here.

Take a look at it at www.dollarshaveclub.com. If nothing else go check it out for the hilarious videos. If you decide to join let me know because I can get free blades for referrals.

Yep...I got ticked off at the high cost of blades and switched to 'lectric a year and a half ago...happy and likely won't use a razor again! ... and the bonus .... no more nicks....EVER.

Funny videos though.

Frankly, I consider a super close shave (blade) unhealthy. A lot of guys can get ingrown hairs and what not because of it. I'm okay with wanting to be neat and clean and all that , but if your face was supposed to be devoid of all hair, you should have been a woman.

And by God, if anyone lays their testicles down for the old canard "my woman hates my beard", then I remove the previous "should have been" and replace it with "must be".

The new electrics are probably pretty good, but I've never gotten a good shave using one. I prefer a blade (actually multi-blade, disposable) razor every other day - unless it's a special occasion and I have to shave prior. Now for NFE, I can understand him not wanting a clean shaven face... but HOT water, good shaving cream (I hate gel) and a new razor, manly it is to shave your face with a blade, and I rarely cut myself. Now in the old macho days with a straight razor, the styptic pencil had to be close at hand. And do you realize how difficult it is to shave your ears with an electric razor?

I agree with NFE to a point. I shave my entire head and face with cream and a bladed razor. I'm fortunate that I don't have to be clean shaven for my job. If I shaved more frequently than every other day, it would probably give me problems. As it is, I shave 2 or 3 times a week with a good 4 blade razor and i'm good to go. I have no interest in ever using an electric.

I can't use an electric. Never could. Few years back I went and bought a "good electric" (damn thing set me back enough it should do more than shave ya). Used it faithfully for about three months. Nada. Give me a 4 blade and Barbosal (or however you spell it) and I do much better.

I tear up my face worse with an electric than I ever do with a straight razor.

Unfortunately, not many women can say their face is devoid of all hair, once they reach a "certain age". Some days ridding oneself of the 'tache and whiskers takes longer than applying the makeup!

As long as they're gotten rid of, it's all good I guess.

Um, some of the nuns back in my daycare days were, indeed, a bit confusing.
