Default Do they qualify as Rednecks?

We passed these guys pulling this boat out of the woods and then here they come past the gas station we stopped at. LOL

I don't know how I saw it. Maybe I caught it before it got removed.
But if you drive down a highway pulling your boat with a flat. Then proceed to just keep driving by a gas station....someone is going to film it and YouTube it.
Just the way of the world today.

Guy HAD TO KNOW at LEAST one person would capture it.

As for qualifing as a redneck.....nope....REDNECKS have more brains.

Oh WillC...I respect your decision though.
Your a good man and a good heart.
But it was kind of funny to watch.

I have to admit that the flick woke me up and I realized that even though I have a spare on my Kayak trailer, other then the wrench with the spare in my care...I wasn't caring a simple handy wrench to take the wheels off.
Can you imagine sitting on the side the Hwy. pulling out all your rods and tackle and probably enough spare lures to stock a small baitshop. Putting them on the side of the road then pulling out the car spare to get at the wrench.
THEN switch tire and put it all back.

Driving on the flat...probably would have at least crossed my mind.

I definitly resemble a 'dumbarse' though.
Rednecks reputation is spared.

Ah heck I'll share a Joe tale with you.

While back I got to the boat landing at like 4 in the morning and realized my starter battery was dead.
Good 45 mins. from home.
24 hr. WalMart was close so I went there, bought a battery charger and found the back of the store and an OUTLET.
Plug in the charger and sat and had a milk and donut for like twenty to thirty mins while the battery charged...and enjoyed a good day fishing.

Will that qualify me as a 'RedNeck?

We could all be called Redneck's at one time or other. lol
My neighbors sure thought I was when I would dry Muskrat and Raccoon in the trees in my yard all during trapping season. I kind of resemble the description.

Thanks bamabassman, You would enjoy the book The Frontiersman written by Eckert. I sure did. I always think I'm the toughest critter in the woods but those days you had to keep both eyes open and use all your senses to survive. My Gr-Gr-Grandfather was killed by Indians near Massacre Rocks (Now American Falls Idaho) and was taking a supply wagon West to Gold Miners. http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-...wells&id=I2834 I have the hand written history he used and my cousin put it in ancestry. Great but sad story.

I've known several people that wouldn't have purchased the charger!!!

oe

My dumber than dirt moment... greased the wheel bearings on my utility trailer. Next time down the road I heard a loud noise behind me and began to slow down and investigate. One of the trailer tires went rolling by me down the road... then the other one!!! I guarantee you I won't forget to put all of the lug nuts back on and tighten them with a wrench.

Had my tires rotated at the local garage before going to Canada fishing. On the way home I could hear something clanking inside the hub cap as we came across the bridge at Rainey River. A couple were floating around in there. Good thing one was tight and the sound off the bridge warned me.
If I ever think something doesn't sound right with my vehicle I pull up next to a brick or block building. You can hear lots of things clearly.
