Default Berkley Lighting Rod

I broke two of the Rhino Rods. I was at Wal-mart today and I'll be trying out the new Berkley Lighting Rod in the morning. I got the Med/ Hev. 6 foot 6 in. one piece for $29. I have the Rhino RSC3 reel and have been really satisfied with the smoothness of it for the price. I hope to catch some fishies in the morning.

That is a good rod-I use 2 of the old pistol grips for topwaters and floating worms.

The first Rhino Rod, my son was puting in the truck and the wind blew the door closed and the rod snapped. The second rod, I was getting ready to take the little two pounder off the hook and Mr. Bass gave a jerk and the rod snapped off about four inches from the end.

I have been really satisfeid with my lightning rod. But another rod thats even cheaper but is just as good in my opinion is the Shakespear Excursion rods. They are about 19 bucks at Wally-World.
