Default Awesome day for bass fishing (pics)

Started out at opening and headed straight across from the marina wishing for some topwater action, it was non exitstant. We tied on some mm3 i was texas rigging anthony (Socal bass) was using a shaky head mm3 robo 6lb. we caught them straight across from the boat ramp in the corner to the left.

Then we headed to the rock quorry and the points right outside for nada. Skipped over to the farthest damn from the marina and tied on a creature bait and soaked it in hot sauce. watermelon color with 6lb test.First cast bam fish. the fish are are few and far between but once you find one your usually on a school when your fishing the damn cast out in the same spot right away and youll end up with two fish and maybe more.anthony landed a couple as well at the damn on the mm3

After we fished the damn we moved to the main lake. this is where we found all the bigger fish. We caught them on a couple diffrent kinds of lure. Mattlures hard bass for two and the rest on robos. 6lb test, texas rigged or shaky heads. Anthony caught a nice fish on just about every cove.

we ended the day with about 16 or 17 fish each. great day of fishing. also heard of some guy catching a 16lb stripper and alot of other good stripper reports
catch and release.

its a margarita mutalator color made by robo worms, its a shade of light clear purple witha natural worm light brown on the back. They are the best worms made hands down.

it doesnt make any diffrence what lake i fish, from these clear lakes out here to the dirtiest of them all in northwest indiana and michigan. they work on every lake and i havent had a day in a long time where i havent caught a bass. its a sure thing. I use 7 inch texas rigged but they were designed for the drop shot. if you read about them a majority of the pros have them rigged on atleast one pole if not more this year. atleast the ones from california that know about them. i usually get mine off ebay where you get three packs for the price of just about one in the stoors.

Nice haul and photo shoot Indy. The Roboworms are some hot ones right now. Try soaking the Doritos in hot sauce too, they are delicious.

The trees look fake...

Ya where are the trees??

Let me tell you I would look at that lake most likely get skunked. Open lakes like that really do a number on my mind.

Great work and really nice fish.

Oh I suggest you fire the photographer with the big thumb.. just an idea...

theres only two of those which are the same fish, smart guy. and fishing lakes when their arent any trees in the lake makes fishing points and droppoffs just about the only way to locate multiple bass.

Another way to fish is big rockpiles in deep water with swimbaits. if they dont have trout in the lake your fishing use a bluegill swimbait

Indy, I wasn't attempting to start a big stink. I was just teasing about the photo organization. But to be honest, if you look closely, you have one bass in two of the pics, and another bass in three of the pics. It's still more big bass than I've ever caught in a day., but when you say you caught 16 or 17 fish each, it kind of gives the impression that the photos were a "play by play," when they are really just a "best of".

Frankly, I'm totally jealous of your fishing trip. I spent a lot of time in Wyoming, and the reservoirs out there (Boysen, Alcova, Glendo, Pathfinder, Seminoe) look EXACTLY like that. Not a lot of timber or weeds to help you find fish.
