Default BPS Reels, whats the difference?

I am probably missing something when reading in the BPS catalog about three different reels BPS sells. I am talking about the Pro Qualifier, and the Exteme reels. Can anyone tell me what the difference is in these two reels other than a $20.00 difference in price? Thy appear to be pretty much the same reel when reading about them in the catalog.

KD,

I pretty much agree with you. Maybe it's the "double-shielded" ball-bearings?
One thing in favor of the Extreme is that it's lighter by a tad.
Trust me, one of our resident "experts" will be along shortly and all will be revealed.

It's probably safe to say, for $20.00, there would not be much difference between the two anyway.

I've used both, and the only thing I see is the Pro Qualifier is a TAD bit lighter.

Well, if you go to the 2007 catalogue, you'll SEE that the Extreme is lighter by a teensy margin, even a TAD, mebbe.

What would we do without our resident experts? LOL Whatever the difference is, I like the looks of the Pro Qualifier better myself. But that 20$ difference would go a long way towards a case of Miller Lite to enjoy while grilling up a good steak!!!
