Members check in.
I hate having to do this again, but everybody that was near a storm, please check in. Kory and Britney are ok, I saw Britney on Facebook earlier. 1/4stick posted something on here not long ago, so he's ok.
66Kingfisher hasn't said anything in a few days...hope everything is ok. Anybody else in Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, etc. speak up and let us know you're still in one piece.

South Arkansas here, all is well in my neck of the woods. Storms rolled thru up North last night. I hope everyone is ok, and praying for the storm victims.
Without getting into the whole climate change debate, it sure seems these things are happening more often, and are stronger than they used to be. |

We are fortunate here an hour south of the Twin Cities, nothing but several inches of rain here over the last week or two. They had a bad tornado in North Minneapolis this past Sunday, and I know a lot of people up there are still without power. The folks up in that area could use your prayers also. This was nothing like what hit Joplin, but it was the worst tornado to hit the area in over 30 years and current toll of the damage is estimated at $166 million and expected to rise.

We're supposed to get severe storms tonight in SW Indiana. Hang on to your hats.

Looks like we've got a pretty nasty storm headed our way. Almost the entire state of Indiana is under a Tornado watch and I'm sure we will be too once it gets across the border. Nothing like the storms that hit other parts of the country, but it's still a nasty storm for our area.
Prayers are going out to all those who have been affected by the recent storms. BB

The storm sirens went off about 4 different times last night but it never got too bad here. It's been a rough spring, prayers sent for everyone effected by the storms.

Watching the Dopler radar on Weather.com last night, was like watching a red sunami headed right at us, then suddenly it was like the parting of the Red seas as the storm line split and when north and south of us.....We didn't get a drop of rain or anything but a little wind. So far this tornado season we've dodged the bullet several times....Thank you Lord.

We are waiting for the storms to hit us here in western Kentucky. There are rumors all over the place here. We have heard that tornadoes are going to happen, that weather channel is in town and all sorts of things. What I do know is that schools let out early and the storms that are suppose to happen are the talk of the town. I think they let schools out early because it was the last day and they wanted to use the storms as an excuse. Hopefully everything will be ok tonight. I will try and check in later. For those who have my cell number, I will have it with all night. Stay safe!

Everett,
How far are you from Hopkin's county? My son lives there and it has me worried as hell.

So far so good, for us here in Central Indiana. We have had numerous tornado warnings this evening, with reports of softball size hail south of us in Columbus. We are all doing fine...thanks!

Cavs, you guys got it bad today. Luckily no tornadoes (as far as I know), but plenty of Tornado Warnings.

We just had a hum dinger of a storm here. It's not completely over, but I think the worst is past.

It looks like the southern area of storms is forming a line, which is better from the standpoint of less tornadoes. They can still happen in a line, but the single cells are way scarier.

OK, storms have passed the Paducah area. Cass, Hopkins county is about a hour or so east of Paducah. The storm should have passed there by now. I think the worst of the storms went south of Paducah. Lots of power outages. I figure some cell phone towers may have not survived the winds. Reports of straight line wind at 70-80 mph here. A maple tree in my back yard didn't make it through the storm. The funny part is that the trampoline sitting next to the tree is just fine. |

yup, all is good round here for the time being. That storm that hit MO is suppose to be coming through Friday and Saturday, but it's not suppose to be anything like what it was. I hope everyone else stays safe.

Hundreds of little tornados in the big white buildings doing enough damage in DC though.
