Rods For Soldiers Build
I had the opportunity to build a rod recently for a good cause. These rods are given to veterans who have spent time overseas. I haven't posted any rods in awhile but thought I would share this one.
I was told the blank was a St. Croix but I'm not sure about that. It is spiral wrapped with Fuji Alconite micro guides. The rod has a Fuji seat, hand made cork grip and black with silver metallic thread wraps.

I'm going to abuse a word - FANTASTIC looking rod, for a FANTASTIC purpose, for one of our FANTASTIC soldiers, by a FANTASTIC rod building member of BassFisin.Com, FANTASTIC JOB JOE! I'll also add, I like the colors and the fact that for this rod you didn't do the (to me) obvious red. white and blue theme. It's good looking and the "God Bless Our Troups" was sufficient for the thoughts behind the build.
