Got this PM from Vegasspider today...too funny.

I know what a BBW is and I don’t have a clue what it had to do with me? It scares me how much you think about me… Just look how you kept it going long after the rest of use ignored you. Why don’t you try acting like an adult once in a while.

FYI - It is time to teach kids like you a lesson. I have copied every single post by you attacking and trying to pick a fight with me and sent it via registered letter to the owners of this site. I am giving them a ten day demand to do something with you. My hope is that you get banned from this board for all of your personal attacks and general BS. Just because you got called out on a racist issue by me and almost all of the other usual suspects that post on a regular basis your intent on keeping your little game going long after the fact. It’s un adult like and like I said you are set on getting a response out of me just so you can play your little game. Unless you have not noticed you’re a new member yourself and all you do is attack the new members and act like it’s your own personal site. Unless you really don’t enjoy yourself here and you’re here to only show how immature and unsophisticated you are then keep it up.

Probably a good arguement in here somewhere for the need of a somewhat moderated forum.

There should be enought room for both of you here, you both just need to stop taking the little off handed shots at each other and let things chill out a bit. Maybe the two of you will never be friends but that does not mean that one of you should have to go.

Note to self: Never send a PM to KDS, It's a PRIVATE message, not a PUBLIC one. But I wouldn't waste my time with a PRiVATE messsage anyway - there just isn't near as much fun using them rather than a PUBLIC message for all to see.

I've been a part of this website for many years now. I've seen my fair share of blowups between members. Thats to be expected when you have this many people from so many backgrounds converging with thoughts and ideas. Usually they just run there course and are forgotten. I think everyone in here would prefer to see it that way. Let by gones be bygones, shake hands and start anew. I'd like to see that happen here. Sometimes, things are said in the heat of the moment we would like to take back. And in a forum such as this. That is easily done. Fessing up and admitting one is wrong is easy here. And I know the vast majority of members would forgive. But I recall a comment about Bryce and the passing of his beloved African Gray. I'm having trouble forgetting that one. Perhaps THAT quote should be passed on to the administration of this website.

I intended to post the PM and leave it alone but based on the number of responses I will say this: At the risk of sounding like a Dr. King minah bird, I have always tried my best to judge people on the content of their character rather than race, creed or ethnicity. I was born into a White Southern middle class family with a proud southern heritage. Unlike most peoples common views and sterotypes of that demographic,no predjudice of ANY kind was taught or tolerated in our family. There were many factors at play in that, but one of the strongest ones was the fact that my father was a soldier in WW2 and Korea and fought side by side with brave and honorable men of every concievable ilk. We were not allowed to use derogatory racial expressions or words like "N", besides it just wasn't a part of our vocabulary or mindset anyway. Having someone chacterize me as racist is comical at best.
People are like crankbaits. Some people you like right out of the box, you know as soon as you meet them that you just click, some people you don't like at first then they grow on you, some people you don't like at first, don't like now and will never like. I'm going to chalk all this up to the latter.

Well since I've been here, disputes between members end in two ways... people just leave eachother alone... orrrrrrrr... we go back to "brown paper bags" or the "muddy incident".

As far as giving the ultimatum of 10 days... we generally police ourselves on here and most of the time we can keep Kevin out of it.
