Every 4 days we get another storm with the potential for 2-6" or 12-20". 50 miles can mean the difference between rain/sleet or shoveling 8" of snow. I don't know whether I'm coming or going with my work schedule. Games have been postponed and rescheduled so many times......

Last week we had a storm roll thru Arkansas that dumped 8 inches in the northern part of the state. I'm far down south, 15 miles north of us got 3-4 inches of sleet/snow mixture. All we got was a few inches of cold rain.
3-4 inches doesnt sound like much, but around here it kept the kids in the neighboring town(s) out of school for 2 days, the northern part of the state was out for 3-4 days. It also creates a shortage of milk and bread every time the weatherman says snow/ice on the t.v.

While we havn't had any ice/snow where I live we have had lots of cold rain which I presume has set the fishing back a good month or so. Presidents day is usually when I kick off my prespawn fishing for lunkers in our local lake, Im so ready for the water to warm up to the 50-55 range I cant stand it no more.

We've been lucky (??) I guess. Only one half day of school has been missed in the county that I work in while the county I live in has missed 5 days of school so far this year. Pretty strange how it's worked out. 3-4" would be one day out and then a late opening around here. I know up north they laugh at that.......

Me and Captain are pretty close to each other... looks like they're now saying 24" with blizzard conditions...

The bad news is this is going to be WET and HEAVY snow. I guess I'll see if not shrink wrapping my saltwater boat this year was a good decision.

My cover for my boat ripped in two places from the December snow. Good thing I haven't replaced it yet or else it would have probably torn as well.

It's snowing in Lynchburg already.....it's coming!!!!!

We haven't had much snow here in Northwest N.J. I'm on top of a small mountain and it seems like the heavier snow moves either north or south of me. Or maybe I had 1 too many Honeybrowns and I'm overthinking.

Really got lucky with this one. Only got 8-10" but got some ice last night and my white pine tree limbs are snapping under the weight. Got 10 or more down and one in the street. Got family looking at 25"+ of heavy snow.

Snow totals for Indianapolis amounted to about 6 inches. The storm has moved on and now the sun is out, shining as bright as ever.

Everybody, please be careful out there, especially on the roads.

Well it has not stopped yet but we got 26 inches so far. The guy next door had "HAD" one of those cool car/boat covers that has a frame and a zipper up front entrance. It has been crushed and has now just a bump in the snow.

I shoveled enough for my emergency exit with my Bourban should I need it.

Sitting here I have booked four more fishing trips..

34 days and I hope the snow pile in front of the boat is gone by then..

6 more inches due on Tuesday..

Vodka holding up OK tequila all gone..

Food is good
