A little suprise
Today when I woke up, it was a very nice day for November, so I decided I would load up the boat and try my luck. I tried for a while with no luck, so I changed to a very unusally colored crankbait. And on the second cast I hung one, thought I had a decent bass, turned out to be a rainbow trout. Ended the day catching 9 bass and 6 trout, these are the ones I kept for dinner
I will get a shot of the crankbait another time. |

Where were you fishing at? I wanted to go today, but the wife had other plans. I can't go tomorrow because it's my daughters birthday. From the looks of the long range forecast, Tuesday is going to be the best day this week, I may take a Vacation day if I can find anyone that wants to hit the lake.

I have a membership to Boeing/Spirit Lake, they stock it with trout this time of year, guy at the gate told me that they are going to put another batch of them in next week for a tournament. I did not know that they would hit a crankbait. Where you going to try and fish on Tues.? |

I have a lease on cainsville lake. It's a 40 acre pit close to the zoo. I also have a freind that has a 5 acre pond close by. Both of these produce lots of bass and some big ones.

Never heard of Cainsville Lake, I have had the privilege of fishing some of the local sand pits, they are certainly capable of producing big bass. If you cant find anyone else by Tuesday, give me a holler, I would love to use a VAC day fishing.
