A nw species of bait Monkey discovered in Walkers Life...
So I got my first ever fly rod in yesterday. A beginner Pflueger 5/6 wt kit. It didnt cost me anythig but some credit card reward points. Well I went to Wal-Mart today and teh Fly Fishing Monkey got a hold of me. I went cheap til i learn the ropes, but bought about $20 worth of Betts Flys and Poppers.
I also got a 7' MH Abu Garcia Conolon Premier Rod... It look sspectacular with my ProMax on it. I will let you guys know how i like it for Bass fishing... I bought i because i fell in love with it while fishing for Specks in TX... |

That right there is the reason I refuse to try fly fishing. I know I would have to find a second job.

yeah got the conolon at wally world too... im not spending any more money on the fly fishing until i get the casting techniques and retrieval techniques down...
