A little afternoon pond session
I spent an extended lunch break today down at a local pond. A buddy had invited me earlier in the week and had told me that the only thing that worked was drop shot. He also said that most of the pond was unfishable. Well, when i got there, I realized that he just didn't know how to fish it. In my mind it was frog heaven.
In my first trip, I only took the DS rod, but this time I brought the frog. It took several casts, but I finally got my first frog fish of the year. I had a few blow ups near the edges so I tossed in the oxblood DS. Nothing big, but the DS worked quickly. I caught a few clone fish and switched back to the frog. The blow up was my biggest of the day, but something just didn't feel right. I flet the slight weight and set a hook. Somehow, I don't think their relationship will work. I stayed for 2 hours and finished with 5 bass and 1 pissed off frog

Nice fish. You have probably turned the frog into a life of cross dressing and celibacy though.

I've caught a couple big frogs and a really pi$$ed off water snake of frogs. A guess that just shows that they're good imitations of the real thing! Nice looking fish!
