hahaha, mudhole agian
yes i went out a little while this evening. got in the water around 4:30 pm. fished the "hot spot" lisa and i found a few days ago. got 6 total in bass and 1 little MEAN brim. caught the bass on both baits, a zoom lizzard and the evr so faithful roostertail. done good for 2 hours i think. felt good to be out on the water after smoking the pork shoulder all morning. although......the pork was wonderful. smoked it with apple wood. all gone now though. lol. always a good sign for the cook.
anyway, i hope to hit guntersville this week. ready for some bigger dinks, hahaha. something a little larger than 9 inches. at least a 14" bass ot make it interesting and stretch my lines some, lol got some pics, sent 1 to daniel. it is one of the "bigger" dinks. had fun though.

bama you need to come north. they're getting skinny on the river and the bucks are crushing jigs on wood. big mama is still hanging out in the grass waiting and temps are getting close. plus the snakeheads just keep getting bigger (son!).
