Need suggestions badly!!!
I got out for some serious bass fishin. It was mid november since I was last out and couldn't take it anymore! Since the water temp is so cold I tried jigs, suspending jerkbaits, and chatterbaits first. No luck. Then I tried deep diving crankbaits and salamanders....nothin!!! I even tried a few topwater worked very slowly near brush and not a thing. Guys, I'm reallly itchin for a good fight with an ole bucketmouth. Any suggestions as to what to try would be very appreciated!!!! Oh.... and I thought I'd show ya my new fishin jacket.

I think you need to try T-rigging a worm, with a 48oz tungsten weight. You'll have to cast high though, so as to penetrate that thick looking white mat.

Yeah he does! hahaha
Hey Keith, if none of those suggestions work, I would try one of these. AND maybe a bottle of Bama's tequila to help keep you warm. -Mark |

Hey Woody, you just might have a good idea there, hahaha. I wonder if I could mount my Revo to it. At least it would give me some holes to practice my pitchin, haha.

Looks like a definite case of desperation to me Keith...nice jacket though.
I've always wanted to try ice fishing, but it never (well almost never) stays cold enough long enough here to get a solid ice pack, even on small ponds. I've never thought it would be much fun to venture out and experience a breakthrough, so I just stay off. .

Nice jacket Keith!
Punching may work, but you'll need way more than a 48oz weight. I'd go with a crane, 12,000lb steel cable, a train car for the weight, and a 4" chigger craw. BB

Keith: those phots point to the obvious, I would have been throwing topwater, possibly a swimbait like an MS SLAMMER
