Holy moly! Are you tellin' me a two-year-old can cast that pole? You are doing a great job teaching him or he's a natural, or both.

Just a suggestion. I got a cheap velcro bracelet with a small cord on it. Attach the bracelet to his wrist and the cord to the pole, that way if he forgets to hold on, the pole won't go swimming. I learned the hard way with one pole. By the way, that's great he's fishing at 2, my son is six and loves to go.

That is awesome! If I learned anything about kids it is that they know not of limitations unless we put it on them. I guarantee he'll be using a spinning reel at 5 and a casting reel a 6 1/2. Well done, both of you.

Look at the way that kid is scanning around just like a pro. My oldest was doing it at 3, but my other one at 3, just can't get it yet. But that is awesome BA!
