Default green river lake june 5 2009

i said i would never post on here again, but i caught a couple keepers yesterday and thought i would share because of kory and his jigs business.both where caught on a craw color thunderstruck jig.the second fish is the biggest fish i have ever caught.there is a great story behind the jigs, and the fish pictured and i also learned a great lesson on fishin and lure choice,i fished a tourney at this lake last sat and fished same spot with different lures and got skunked.

Bama, what would you like to know? the jig is one of my favorite techniques. Send me a pm if you would like and we can go over a few ways that I fish them.

bama,i had a long response type in and my computer went crazy but i got way off base with dropshots, shakyheads, swimbaits, just trying too much stuff.for me i fished the jigs for a few days at first with no luck, but after the first fish it come easier and easier and now i believe it is the most versatile-easiest lure you can tie on a rod,and a lure that can be trimmed and trailered so many different ways, you can be the only guy with that lure on the lake.simple works for me,the proof is in the above pics.

bama, here is a good tip for you, take one of korys trauma jigs and trim it as u like, then for a trailer cut the top half of a okeechobee craw baby brushhog off and thread it on.great lure.try it and i believe you will say that should catch a bunch of bass.

bama, you should have hit me up at ky lake. i would have showed you all the ways that i modify jigs (and i have several), plus i would show you all the trailers i use and explain what conditions i would use them in and why. all of this info is in the videos that we still don't have working on our site. i fish a jig a ton, it's my confidence bait and i have learned a lot of neat tricks with it.

ky southern, thanks for sharing the pics of the fish you caught on our jigs. i really enjoy seeing pics and hearing stories of the fish that were caught on our products. congrats on a new personal best and a great day on the water.
