Default Ok, tackle questions and/or ideas

Slide-off weed guard
I was watching the 2011 Elite recap and Davey Hite won, fishing a swim-bait on a jig-head with an exposed hook. Said that was the key to his winning the tourney. The feel was better without a buried hook and head. Was fishing after and with like 10 other pros and they all went elsewhere cause they couldn't get fish.
Got me thinking.....SCAREY!
I'm thinking great for rocks in vegetation amongst other ideas.
Plus rigging tubes weedless. This is the reason it caught my eye.
Currently I texas rig them for weedless applications, this would be better I think.

Now this one, wouldn't the blade effect hook set?
I do like the angle of the jig line tie eye though.

I'm thinking...DEADLY with a fluke and maybe a worm and probably even a swim-jig.

I'm thinking great for getting a better feel of the bottom terrain when carolina rigging. Tungsten really does give alot better feel plus more noise. Noise I'm just taking their word for.
Now I can get any or all of them for a $1.99 plus like $3 shipping regardless of order amount.

So what do you anglers think?

Anyone use any of these?
If so, what do you think?

The wigglefin on a BKD would be insane in heavy cover..

Gotta get some of those.

Joe That bait is a Little George clone, the blade doesn't hinder hook sets in the least.

Yup lil george copy bait is tilted when on a retrieve and blade is up and behind, may every now and then like a spinnerbait have a blade strike.
They work to some degree on deep spots like at Lanier, other wise catch a lot of other fish like white bass, stripers and when near bottom walleye and sauger.
One of the first non spoon baits designed to catch fish deeper than normal.Tom Mann bait that Paul Elias used heavily from 1976 to about 1990 and still digs one out every now and then.

You are killing me with the tungsten, gonna have to order some even though the money shouldn't go there. Bought a bunch of tungsten for my dads birthday (and for myself), and all the 1/2 oz came in, but guy backed out on 3/4. So when I get back the the laptop, I'll be makin an order
