Default Strike King 10XD

Phil Marks won the FLW Open on Sam Rayburn today, in part, using a prototype Strike King 10XD crankbait. He's a lure designer for SK. He caught 32lbs 12oz today using the 10XD, 6XD and a 1oz SK jig!

I read that the 10XD will consistently hit 25', is shaped like the 5XD and is considerably larger than the 6XD. I found a picture of it next to a 6XD for comparison. All you deep crankers, get your big cranking sticks ready, the lure should be released in February.

Put me down for a handful............Joe are you sure it's compared to a 6xd in the pic? If so we are just a season or two away from screwing eyes and hooks to a Dutch shoe.

Sure I'm sure! It was on the internet so it has to be true right?

Here are 2 stories from days 3 and 4 of the tournament.

Good thing I don't do any deep cranking... otherwise I'd have to burn some money on them things!

I'm sure they will be a huge success. Strike King makes good baits in good colors at an affordable price, I bet they have trouble keeping them on the shelves at first.

They released the length...anyone have an idea what it weighs in at? At 6" long I'd imagine it's pretty hefty!

That's a good question, I bet it weighs at least an ounce and a half or ounce and three quarters. It's so much bigger than the 6xd, which weighs an ounce.
