Thumbs up eBay sellers....

This has been discussed within various threads throughout the board so I though why not co-locate them.

I have many sellers saved in "my eBay" for various items or I've had really good experiences using them.

I'm sure many of us are sketchy about making purchases on eBay (I am!); if they're a seller I haven't used before they better have a feedback rating of 99.1% or higher before I'll even consider using them and no more than one negative feedback in the last 6 months. If they have 1 or more and I can read between the lines (e.g. someone complaining about something stupid; oh it shipped a day later than it was suppose to) I might considering purchasing from them.

With that said here are a few of the sellers I've either used more than once or have had really good experiences with (i.e. solid communication, super fast shipping, beyond reasonable shipping rates and/or prices for that matter, etc):

Simmons Sporting goods (always have Kistler rods on sale and will combine shipping on more than one rod, shipping rates are reasonable and good communications)

Minstor Tackle (This dude is in the Phillipines, has great prices on his gear, and super, super quick shipping. I ordered a reel from him, 32 bucks less than retail, BNIB and had it in 3 days at his "regular" and fair shipping price)

Brad at JBC Outfitters (cheap tackle prices on "big name" stuff, super quick shipping and combines shipping. Example: I ordered 8 R2S cranks from him, only paid 3 something in shipping and had it in just a matter of a couple of days)

Disclaimer: I do not receive anything from any of the sellers above for doing this. They are not aware of me doing this, I am NOT sponsored or affiliated with any of them. If you decide to do business with one of the above sellers and your transaction does not go as smoothly I can't be held responsible

Who do you use and have had good luck with?

My point behind this is, as a whole, it may save someone from being burnt in the end. Granted there are a lot of measures put in place to protect the buyer and seller, but some still slip through the cracks.

I have few sellers I visit regularly but I do a lot of bidding on things that I'm hoping to get cheap. I always check their feedback but it doesn't factor in as much unless I'm buying reels.

I've also had good luck with Simmons. They have a lot of stuff in stock and they have the largest selection of Zoom crankbaits anywhere that I know of.

United Outdoors is another seller I've bought some reels from in the past without issue.

I've ordered baits from karate-tokyo009 many times without issue. He sells a lot of gently used Japanese baits at good prices, stuff you can't get here. He will combine shipping and orders get here pretty quickly from Japan.

Pro Tackle Solutions is another Ebay store I've ordered from numerous times. They have a wide range of stuff, reasonable shipping rates and fast shipping times. They also put baits on sale periodically. That's where I bought my R2S cranks for $6 each.

There is a new store I've recently discovered in California, they are a Lucky Craft dealer. They have JDM LC's that I've never heard of in colors I've never seen. The prices aren't great but the selection is, they also offer free shipping when you buy any 3 baits. I am hesitant to share their identity with the world though

Check their feedback, most are not out to fleese one,I buy some from overseas as can get colors not available here, others are repeats from sellers i know,3 times in about 15 years have filed bad plus filed for money, one sent the purchased item just after, other two I got my money back.Others dont know from adam saw what I wanted and bid once satisfied they were legit.
Hint win 7 for 30 bucks with the microsoft numbers from a chinese guy who joined canadian side then lists it as being in usa and then shippied from china is not kosher.
Yet under ebay guarantees and paypal guarantees you get your denaro back.
Won two bids last night I sometimes place a min bid on something and forget about it have won new props for 100 bucks, last night two tom mann little georges a 3/4 and a 1 oz for a pittance.
Yes a a result of a recent forum interest, had several lighter ones just added to them for 4 bucks.

I've bought from Simmons, United Outdoor, Sheltonsclothing, bassdozer, and a few others. I rarely get involved in bidding sales, I just got tired of the snipers. I find what I want at a "Buy it Now" price I can deal with and go that route. The bidding crap just doesn't get my juices flowing, if I want it I buy it and am done with it.

I have started to use E Bay as a means of selling my salesmans samples and assorted gear. I have a storefront and a personal site. Have only been playing the EBay thing for a month. So far, I find myself buying things when I am supposed to be selling. I find that there are a lot of sites that have new products that they are selling well below wholesale. This makes me think of some shady dealings. Like you said....look at who you are dealing with. So far.....I am dealing with some good buyers and sellers.

I got a heck of a deal on a Veritas rod and a Abu Soron STX. It was from a private seller. There wasn't a mark on either the rod or reel. I asked the seller some questions and he answered as it turned out truthfully. I've also bought from Simmons and Sheltons. Both good people.
Like Rayman I started selling on e-bay. I'm selling my sports cards and other things I don't need or use anymore. Looking to buy a used boat when I get enough saved up.
I've bought and traded with a few members here. Last was Rayman. I was totally satisfied with our transaction.
Best thing to do if you are not sure is ask questions.

I purchase a lot of stuff from fleabay(to my wife's dismay), rarely a week goes by w/o a package showing up. Several of the one's mentioned, and a lot from private sellers without a problem, ever(knock on wood). A few others I use, Atlanticgator, bait-fishin, bassnforchrist, catfishsupplyco., fishermensheaven(they were so cool, they referred me to their website for better deals), jaggedtoothtackle, 2010*Durham, 4-star_traders, onemorebass(shop his local brick and mortar store now), tackle_on _the _bay777, and one private seller bridalwood1, who has never let me down. I shop for different things from different sellers, but find the best deals mostly at auction from private sellers, it's all about doing your homework, being at the right place at the right time, and setting your limit, and sticking to it.
